Privacyaxshul.site
Your data, plainly.
What axshul.site collects (very little), where it goes, and what you can ask of us.
Who we are
axshul.site is the personal portfolio and content site of Anshul Namdev, an independent technical architect and AI automation engineer based in India. For the purposes of data protection law, Anshul Namdev is the data controller for anything collected through this site. You can reach us at sales@axshul.site.
This site is a personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated on behalf of n8n GmbH or any other company mentioned on it.
What we collect, and why
We collect as little as a website can. There are no accounts, no logins, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels anywhere on axshul.site. The complete list of personal data we process is below.
| Data | When | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name | When you submit the contact form on the homepage or on /contact/ | So we know who we are replying to | Our automation server (in the request URL, see below), then our mailbox |
| Email address | Contact form | So we can reply to you | Our automation server, then our mailbox |
| Message | Contact form | The content of your enquiry, so we can answer it | Our automation server, then our mailbox |
| IP address, browser type, requested page, time and referrer | Every request, automatically | Web server access logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting | Hostinger web server logs |
How the contact form works, exactly. When you press Send, your browser makes an HTTP GET request over HTTPS to an automation server we run ourselves: an n8n instance on a Hostinger VPS at n8n.srv1419396.hstgr.cloud. That workflow forwards the message to our mailbox at sales@axshul.site. Nothing is stored in a database, nobody else receives the message, and the form is never used to add you to a mailing list. The form only runs when you submit it; nothing is sent while you type.
What using GET means for you, stated plainly. Because the request is a GET, your name, email address and message are encoded into the request URL rather than sent in a hidden request body. The connection itself is encrypted, so nobody can read those values in transit. However, data in a URL is more exposed than data in a request body in three specific ways, and you should know all three:
- The full URL, including your three fields, is written to the web server's access log on our automation server. We control that server and only Anshul Namdev can read those logs, but the values sit there in plain text until the logs are rotated.
- The URL may be recorded in your own browser history and in any corporate proxy, VPN or network monitoring tool between you and us.
- URLs are generally longer-lived than request bodies: they get copied, bookmarked and cached more easily.
So please do not put passwords, API keys, card numbers, government identifiers or other confidential information into the contact form. It is built for ordinary enquiries: who you are, how to reach you, and what you would like to talk about. If you need to send us something sensitive, email {MAIL} directly and we will agree on a secure way to exchange it. We may switch this form to a POST request in future; if we do, we will update this page.
Legal basis (for visitors in the EEA and UK): we process contact form data because you asked us to get in touch (steps at your request before any contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages stay in our mailbox for as long as the conversation is useful, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick it up if you come back. Automation logs on our server are cleared periodically. Hosting access logs are kept by Hostinger for a limited period according to their own retention settings. If you ask us to delete your messages we will do so promptly.
What runs in your browser
Some features remember things on your own device only. This data never leaves your browser and we cannot see it.
| Storage | Pages | What it holds | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sessionStorage: hive | Main pages | A single flag noting that the intro animation has already played, so it is skipped next time | Until you close the tab |
localStorage | /Notes/ | The notes you write in the note-taking tool | Until you delete them or clear your browser data |
| URL only | /Nexus/ | Canvas state is encoded into the page address for auto-save; nothing is stored or uploaded | Only in the URL you keep |

Third parties your browser talks to
Loading a page here makes your browser request a few things from other companies. Each of them can see your IP address and standard request details, and each has its own privacy policy.
| Service | Used for | Pages |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) | The typefaces | All main pages, tools and guide articles |
| Hacker News API (hacker-news.firebaseio.com, run on Google Firebase) | Fetching the public stories shown in the live feed | /blog/ |
| cdnjs (Cloudflare), jsDelivr, unpkg, esm.sh, d3js.org | Open-source JavaScript libraries (Three.js, Fabric.js, highlight.js, D3 and similar) | Guide articles, /Nexus/, /Notes/, /Galaxy/ |
| Pixabay and Picsum | Placeholder images | /Seek/ |
Three archived pages, /community-1/, /community-2/ and /community-3/, are static snapshots of community.n8n.io kept for a prototype. They load that site's own scripts, including Google Tag Manager and a cookie-consent script, which may set third-party cookies. They are not linked from anywhere on this site and are not part of its normal navigation.
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, X, Qixazow, learn.n8n.io, docs.n8n.io and community.n8n.io take you to those sites, where their policies apply.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email sales@axshul.site and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, and you may raise a grievance with us at the same address before approaching the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. The automation server that receives contact form submissions is operated by us, protected by authentication and accessible only to Anshul Namdev. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone, and we do not transfer it to third parties except the hosting and automation infrastructure described above.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything that collects data, for example analytics or an embedded booking widget, we will update this page and change the date at the top before it goes live. Material changes will also be noted on the homepage for a while.
